Cookie Policy
What this site measures, and how to stop it.
This page explains the cookies and analytics used on morrisseybuilt.com.au, what they collect, and how you can refuse or withdraw permission.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. They let a site remember things between visits, such as whether you have already made a choice about tracking. Some are set by this site, and some are set by the third-party services listed below.
The services this site uses
The list below is generated from the site's own consent inventory, so it always matches what is actually running. It names each recipient, what it is used for, and the cookies it sets. Alongside the analytics listed, the homepage carries an introduction video hosted by Vimeo, which sets its own player cookies when it loads.
Optional services and privacy choices
Whether optional services need permission before they run depends on your location and the settings for this site. Services you previously declined stay off. If we cannot determine which services are allowed, they stay off.
You can decline optional services or withdraw permission at any time in Cookie settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising stays off unless you explicitly allow it in Cookie preferences. This signal does not automatically turn off functional services or analytics.
- Google Analytics
Measures how many people visit the site and which pages they read, so the site can be improved.
Analytics
Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_<container-id> cookies in your browser to tell returning visits apart. They expire after up to two years unless you clear them first. Google processes this data on its own servers, and IP addresses are used to estimate location.
https://policies.google.com/privacy - Vimeo
Plays the short introduction video on the homepage. The player is only loaded once video and embedded content is permitted.
Functional
Vimeo sets player cookies when the video loads, including ones that remember playback preferences and measure aggregate video views. Vimeo's own privacy policy sets out their lifetimes and retention.

How to refuse or withdraw permission
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing permission stops optional analytics from running from that point on. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, although that may affect how other sites work.
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, the site respects it and optional analytics will not run.
Statistics collected by the platform
Separately from the analytics listed above, this site is hosted on a platform that records basic, cookieless traffic statistics. That measurement does not set cookies and does not identify you personally.
Changes to this policy
If a new service is added that collects data, this page is updated and the change is recorded before that service starts running.
