Project Gallery Geelong
Recent work across Geelong.
A gallery of recent projects we've built across Geelong: the frame going up, the trusses going on, the finished details at the end. Real photos, no renders.
Photos from recent Geelong builds.
Every photo is from a real Morrissey Built job across Geelong and the Bellarine. Some are mid-build, with the frame and trusses going up, and a few are the finished details at the end. Click any photo to see it full size.
Curious what a particular job involved? The renovation services and the kitchen, bathroom and carport pages cover how each one works. If you would rather just ask, get in touch with Ben.
What you're looking at, and why it matters.
A lot of builder websites show finished rooms and nothing else. That tells you very little about how a job was actually run. This gallery deliberately includes the messy middle: frames before lining, roof structures before sheeting, footings before the slab goes down.
The frame and roof structure
These are the parts that decide whether a build stays straight. If a frame isn't set square or a roof isn't tied into the existing house properly, nothing you do afterwards hides it. It's worth seeing the work at this stage rather than only at handover.
Working in live-in homes
Several of these jobs ran with the family still in the house. That means protective barriers, staged trades and a sequence planned so a working kitchen or bathroom stays available. You can see the containment in a few of the shots.
Outbuildings and outdoor work
Carports, garages, decks, pergolas and fencing. Smaller jobs, but the ones where poor footings and drainage show up fastest. Coastal work around Barwon Heads and Ocean Grove also needs fixings specified for salt air.
Most of this work is across Newtown, Geelong West, Highton, Manifold Heights, South Geelong and Belmont, plus the Bellarine and Surf Coast. If you see something close to what you have in mind, mention it when you send through your project details.
